Last week I bought YAMAHA TX750. I tried to start TX ENG.. Then ENG start, and it sounds Good. Please come to my HP. I’ll waiting for you. blogs.yahoo.co.jp
I wish i could get mine to sound like that.
I have 2 of these. Not running yet. I cant get spark. If i could i think i would have one running. If anyone is looking for parts, let me know.
I have aYamaha XS 500, 1977 model, that I´m planning to restore. My problem is that I don´t have the users manual, and without that I´m pretty helpless.
Do you know about a place I can get it? Help would be appreciated!
Yes my dad has a 1977 XS650 and uses the champion equivalent. They also seem to work better in my 1973 DT3-250 Yamaha. Alot less fouling is the main benefit of using champions in Yamahas.
Thank you for comment.
Do you know this TX750 which poducted in 1972-75 from YAMAHA.
This bike sound is moderrate and Its sounds comfortable.
At the low speed,it sounds like a single cylinder “shutatatatata~~~” .
But from 3000rpm the sound change to wild like powerful twin “burororororo~~~”
TX is a good bike!
Thank you for coment.
This time I used B8EV temporally. But I’ll change to B7ES of normal plug.
But do you recommend Champion B8ES equivalents? Is it works good?
Please tell me the “some reson”.
I want to know!
sweet crocs! j/k I’m somewhat intrigued on looking for one of these. Doesn’t have the average sound of a parallel twin. I can’t stand that sound but this bike sounds wonderful.

XS650 is a intersting,and good bike!

Yes,you know well. As you say, this eng has a balancer. It’s works very well,so eng has no viblations. But balancer drive chane is very narrow.

sounds like you should consider running a hotter N8ES plug “though Champion equivalents seem to foul less in Yamahas for some reason”
