A video of my SR idling in front of a huge fan. Headlight bracket is squeaking in the video. Soon I will upload a riding video of it with the new upgrades and carburetor modifications. This video is to compare the sound after modification. Bars are vertex clip ons 35mm. Bike has 12000 miles.

SR 500 first start/run after tuning with lumpy cam, KN filters and Mikuni carbie

This is the first start of my 1978 Yamaha SR 500 after i replaced the cam with a tuning one, removed the airfilter and put KN filters on the carbie and engine. The carbie is a TM 36 Mikuni. All parts are from Kedo in Germany. It idles very well and seems to run quite good. Need some testrides and rejetting of the carbie. Hopefully as soon as possible. Output should be about 42-45HP from the engine. 33HP is the original output.
