Just having a bit of fun. filmed with flip mino. lack of riding footage is because it’s hard to film ones self whilst in london. the camera was about to be stolen by the 1st car that passed on the ride off shot. 1977 Honda cb400 four burnout and take off. I did manage to get a bit of help when I bumped into a pal on the street.
SR 500 first start/run after tuning with lumpy cam, KN filters and Mikuni carbie
September 8th, 2010 | Articles | 10 Comments »This is the first start of my 1978 Yamaha SR 500 after i replaced the cam with a tuning one, removed the airfilter and put KN filters on the carbie and engine. The carbie is a TM 36 Mikuni. All parts are from Kedo in Germany. It idles very well and seems to run quite good. Need some testrides and rejetting of the carbie. Hopefully as soon as possible. Output should be about 42-45HP from the engine. 33HP is the original output.

Mods include: YZF750SP front disk(moved over from left to right side).R6 calipper, Thundercat 600 brakecylinder, Laverda bars, Beston grips, Improved lube system for the cylinder head, TM 36 Mikuni Carb, Pegs from Kedo, Front fork stabilazor, front forks were polished up, Scramblers from kedo, Supersound system from Japan, Koni rear shocks, classic mini-blinkers, Monoseat from 1997(old)Kedo or wunderlich, New paintjob in Yamaha racing yellow colours with locally made decals, wheels were painted and polished. Mechanically i replaced the chamshaft, chamchain and valve-rockers. Ive probally forgot something.. but its done..i think
