My XS650 Bobber – total cost $500 bucks! – ECONO BUILD!

This is my winter project finally coming together. I say “winter project” but I didn’t actually get started until maybe late Feb. 6 weeks and few cases of beer and she’s just about done. So How did I do it for 500 bucks? I bought 2 bikes. One was a 73 frame w/ motor and title (what you’re looking at) – 0 on ebay. The other a running/busted 81 650 special w/ title (guy was laid off) – 0. I stripped all good parts from the 81 and put on my frame. I sold the left over 81 frame and motor w …
