cool vid. the camera angle isn’t so bad, give yourself some credit
That tank is THE SHIT!!!! Love the paint work and the cap! Those bars are bad ass as well. I just posted a POV style video like this myself. You should check it out. I found a way to mount the camera into my jacket so that I could raise my chest and move the angle at will. I attempted mounting it to the bike but with an XS650 the vibration is insane. (As you may already know) How did you mount yours???
it’s a GoPro suction mounted camera. The GoPro came with all that mounting stuff, so I am going to hook it to my helmet next time. The big drawback is the microphone- it’s either way to loud and buzzy and garbled, or you can’t hear anything. There’s only two settings
The tank is swirled up bare metal, inked over to stain then clear laquered over.
Yeah, I have heard mixed reviews about those GoPro’s. Its really funny cuz the videos on their website have Indy cars and shit which are like the loudest cars ever ( I actually work next the the Indy500 track) and the sound on their videos are crystal clear. I have a feeling they used a seperate condenser mic and edited it in. So, basically, if you have a real nice portable digital audio recorder, its a sweet camera. Ohh well.
BTW, the transparent stain idea for the tank is total genius,….
