My Motor is stock, Timing is very imporant I run a honda coil that fires both plugs at the same time. at the point plate I wired Both point wires together. When you put a timing light on this set up, If your cylenders are out of sink you will see two markes on crank. move the points that are movable on the point plate till you see only 1 timing mark. Now your cylinders are in sink. set timing a lot more advanced than stock setting.

bmx15t also when running open ehhaust, pull top off carbs & move keeper on metering rod to richen up carbs. at this field meet I took a old harley rear sprocket & cut center out & welded old yamaha sprocker to it, geving me really low gear ratio. For driving on street try running a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket.

That rear sprocket really worked. 2nd & 3rd gear where before 1st was it.I don’t rember how far I got through rounds I won a bunch, But there were lots of fast bikes at this meet, twin turbos, nitrous, nytro-meathane ect. The first field meat these guys ( a real bike group) they split us in harley & all other class.I wone trophy in drags that year. Very proud of that

I Filmed Lots Of This Field Meet. But when i was on bike in line & racing others with me did not film much of me. Darn, I will post some videos of others for old time sake. My bike has rear swing arm 3.5 in. longer than stock, Puting more waight on front, front springs in tubes are harley with chevy lifter on top for spacer, You would not belive how this bike handles, Also notice rear shifter on pasenger foot peg, up shift onley.

I run a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket on street, for dragracing ya might try bigger rear sprocket- try & be wound out in 5 th at distance you want to run 1/4 1/8 ect. I run open exhaust, ya half to richen carbs by pulling top off & placing c clip yo raise metering rod, I run a honda coil that fires both cy at same time, VERY IMPORANT when seting timing ya see 2 marks, move the point plate that adjusts till ya see only 1 mark, Run timing more advanced than stock.

Very cool video. I bought an old XS drag bike from the wife of an ex racer who passed on. It is pretty radical, methanol, strecthed, wheelie bars, air shifter, I plan on starting it again this summer. I will post my results.
