Just purchased a 1981 xs and I love it. It is a bobber like yours. Keep the rubber side down my friend.

get some spoke wheels and whitewall it, and you are set.

Very cool bike!

I have aYamaha XS 500, 1977 model, that I´m planning to restore. My problem is that I don´t have the users manual, and without that I´m pretty helpless.

Do you know about a place I can get it? Help would be appreciated!

pipes are good. Loose the wheels, taillight and the chains. Should be spokewheels. tyres are not nice either.
